to Tell if a Rental
Home is in Foreclosure 1. Click this
tax link , on the first line where it says "Real
Estate Records by Owner Name" select "Property
Address" and Click "go" button. 2. Enter the
"Street name" only, and the "Street Number" click
"Run Search" 3. Click the First "Account Number"
link, which should be the address you entered. 4.
Where is says "Abbreviated Description" look for the
lot, block, book and page. They look like this;
| Plat Book/Page: 0015/0054 |
Sub Name: PORT MALABAR UNIT 13 |
LOT 6 BLK 667 |
|

link , then click "Doc
Legal Search" on left side menu. 6. Beside the
"Legal Desc." field click the button with three dots
in it.
7. On the page that opens enter the lot, block, plat
book, and page and click ok and that page will close.
NOTE: not all homes have a "BLK" number, leave
it blank if it does not have one. 8. Now click
"Search Records". If you see any record within the last
few years that says "Lis Pendens" or "Judgment Real
Property" or if you see a "Lien" you may have a
problem. Call the owner or rental agent for that
property and inquire about the legal action you found.
